Odyssey
‘Odyssey’ is a photography project entirely based in a video-game. It is heavily influenced by the Nintendo game “Super Mario Odyssey”, which is where the images are taken from.
“Super Mario Odyssey” is an open-world video-game by Nintendo that brings Mario to locations that “look familiar to the real world.” The game features a photo mode that allows players to use a free-moving camera to take and save screenshots with additional options such as filters and stickers.
The ‘Odyssey’ project has helped to inspire later projects of Ellie's, which relate to digital art and imagery. The photographs capture you into a “dreamlike” state that you get easily immersed in to and make you forget about the real world.

This project was featured in the Bristol Comic And Zine Fair 2018.
This Zine was on the "Communal Table" which was designed for smaller artists who are just starting out and who are interested in creating Zines and/or Books.
